World Wildlife Day Special Assembly – Std. III to V
“We don’t own our Planet Earth. We belong to it and we must share it with our wildlife.’’ World Wildlife Day is celebrated annually on March 3rd, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the world’s wildlife and their habitats. It is an initiative endorsed by the United Nations, first proclaimed in December 2013, and marks a significant global effort to promote conservation and sustainable practices. The theme for 2025 is “Wildlife Conservation Finance: Investing in People and Planet.”. Keeping this in mind, the students of Upper Primary celebrated ‘World Wildlife Day’ on March 03, 2025 in the ARA hall. The ceremony began with the school hymn, thought for the day, facts, poem recitation and news. A video to emphasize a better understanding about the wildlife was shown to the students. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
