World Tiger Day Assembly – Std. I & Std. II

The Lower Primary students observed World Tiger Day assembly on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 with great enthusiasm, creating awareness about the importance of protecting one of nature’s most magnificent and endangered animals. The assembly began with the Thought for the day highlighting the significance of World Tiger Day. Students shared interesting facts about tigers, including their unique stripe patterns, their crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, and their status as India’s national animal.
A creative presentation brought the theme to life as students depicted a thriving forest ecosystem, emphasising the importance of conserving tigers and protecting their natural habitats. The theme talk was delivered by the teacher, who explained the various threats faced by tigers such as habitat loss and poaching, and highlighted the global importance of wildlife conservation. To reinforce the message, students watched an inspiring video titled “Tiger Anthem,” which encouraged them to appreciate and protect wildlife.
The assembly concluded on a meaningful note, inspiring young learners to develop a sense of responsibility, compassion and commitment towards protecting wildlife and conserving nature for future generations.
