World Tiger Day Assembly – Std. I & Std. II
World Tiger Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Mitra Academy on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The theme for the day was “Stripes Not Struggles: Let Tigers Thrive!”. The assembly aimed to raise awareness about tiger conservation and their importance in maintaining ecological balance. The assembly began with a student led announcement on the significance of the day. Key facts about tigers were shared, including their unique stripe patterns, their role in the ecosystem and their status as India’s national animal. A short skit titled “Tale of the Forest” was performed by the students, showcasing a healthy forest where tigers thrive. A touching dialogue by a baby tiger — “I do not want to struggle. I want to thrive with my stripes.” — left a lasting emotional impact on the audience. The teacher delivered a theme talk, highlighting the threats faced by tigers and emphasizing the global significance of International Tiger Day. A video titled “Tiger Anthem” was also screened to reinforce the message of wildlife conservation. The celebration successfully inspired a sense of responsibility, compassion and awareness about the need to protect tigers and other wildlife among the young learners.
