Love for Elders: Poem Writing Competition – Std. III to Std. V

To celebrate World Senior Citizen Day, our school organized a ‘Love for Elders: Poem Writing Competition’ on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. This event aimed to highlight the significance of ‘World Senior Citizen Day’ through the poem writing competition on the topic ‘Love for Elders’, encouraging children to express their creativity and self expression. The competition saw enthusiastic participation of all the students across Std. III to Std.V. The poems were assessed based on the Presentation, Neatness, Content, Language and Creativity and the winners were selected across each section.
The Poem Writing Competition was a resounding success, fostering artistic expression among students. It was a delightful way to celebrate ‘World Senior Citizen Day’, to create the sense of responsibility, care and respect among children towards the elders.
