World Senior Citizens Day Assembly – Std. I & Std. II
To honour and appreciate the valuable role senior citizens play in our families and society, the Lower Primary Students conducted an assembly on World Senior Citizens Day with great respect and enthusiasm on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The assembly began with the morning prayer, followed by a thought for the day that highlighted the importance of caring for our elders. Students then presented the significance of this day, emphasizing how senior citizens are a source of wisdom and guidance. They also shared personal memories about their grandparents expressing love and respect towards them. There was a special dance done by the students that beautifully portrayed the loving bond they share with their grandparents. The assembly ended with the National Anthem.The programme was meaningful and left the young learners with a deeper understanding of the importance of respecting and caring for elders in our families and communities.
