World Environment Day Activity – LP

In recognition of World Environment Day, the students and faculty of Mitra Academy came together to celebrate and raise awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. The assembly organised on Monday, June 05,2023 served as a platform to educate, inspire and empower students to take positive actions towards preserving the environment for future generations. The students of Std. I and II participated with full energy in the assembly. The objective of this assembly was to emphasize on the importance of environmental conservation and the role each student can play in making a difference. In the respective classrooms a series of presentations and discussions were conducted to enlighten the students about the 3 R’s, reduce, reuse and recycle.
As per description, the students used old newspapers and made reusable paper bags. Students were encouraged to make their own paper bags and decorate it with a green earth and three clouds and wrote the slogan ‘Save Trees, Save Water and Save Earth.’ Students were made aware of reducing the use of plastic bags and were encouraged to use paper bags or cloth bags instead.
