Wealth Out of Waste Activity – Std.VIII

A special assembly was conducted with great enthusiasm by Mitra Academy to celebrate World Environment Day, on Thursday, June 04, 2026, inspiring students to reflect on their role in protecting the planet. The programme was graced by the eminent environmentalist, Mr. Santosh Harish, who addressed the students on pressing global issues such as climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and water scarcity. The event featured a special assembly with thought, facts, poem and a short skit engaging student activities. The skit highlighted the consequences of rising temperatures, droughts, and extreme rainfall, leaving the audience with a powerful message on environmental responsibility. The celebration successfully combined awareness, creativity, and action, empowering students to become active contributors towards a greener and more sustainable future.
