VITM Artefact Demonstration Contest – Std. VI to X
The students of Mitra Academy participated in the “Demo Contest for Public on Artefacts” conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological Museum (VTM) on 18th May 2024. This contest was a part of International Museum Day celebrations held at VITM, Kasturba Road.
The contest was held to create awareness about obsolete instruments that were once crucial to scientific progress. Our students explained the cultural importance of their respective artefacts, its invention, how it is emotionally attached to them and how it has played a significant role in the development of Science and Technology.
The first three prizes were bagged by Mitra Academy students. Leticia Celin Sebastian -First prize, Naga Chaitanya – Second prize and Srestha Roy – Third prize. Consolation prize was given to Navya Nandan Nair.
