Titling and Climax Writing Competition – Std. X

The students of Std X were expected to conclude a short story of around 200 words on the given prompt and give a suitable, interesting title to their story. The activity would focus on encouraging students to provide an interesting climax to the story. This was an informal yet competitive activity for all students of grade X to celebrate Children’s Day. The students were given clear instructions regarding the activity and approximately an hour to complete the task and submit it. The winners from each section were selected on the basis of originality, relevance to the theme, coherence, sequencing and clarity.
