Teachers’ Day – Special Assembly – Std. I & Std. II

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Mitra Academy on Thursday, September 04, 2025, in the ARA Hall. The assembly began with the School Hymn, and Thought for the Day, followed by students presenting Amazing Facts about Teachers’ Day. Students enthusiastically participated in the programme. A Std II student delivered a speech highlighting the significance of Teachers’ Day and the contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is observed on September 5th. A short skit, “A Day Without a Teacher,” emphasised the importance of teachers in guiding students’ lives. The cultural program included a vibrant dance performance, a melodious Teachers’ Day song and an inspiring talk by Ms. Rashmi K. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving students with a deep sense of respect and gratitude towards their teachers. The assembly created a warm and joyful atmosphere, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of both teachers and students.
