Class Picnic to “The Big Barn Organic Farm” – Std. III

The soothing sounds of nature added charm to a delightful picnic experience. On Wednesday, January 22, 2025 the students of Grade III were taken for a class picnic to The Big Barn Organic Farm. Upon arrival, the children eagerly explored the farm’s natural beauty and bounty. The animal petting was the most exciting and lively experience as the students were thrilled to interact with animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, iguanas and ferrets. At the nursery, they learned the art of compost making and participated in gardening activities including touching earthworms and sowing seeds. The cow feeding and fish feeding activities were highly impressive and left a lasting impression on the young learners.
The visit to the farm was both educational and memorable, inspiring students to care for their environment and maintain cleanliness around them. It also provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendships and everyone returned to school with happy hearts and cherished memories.
