Stars and Beyond: Milky Way Activity – UKG

Our little Mitraites embarked on an exciting cosmic journey through the Stars and Beyond: Milky Way Activity! The activity began with a short, interactive talk where teachers introduced the concept of the Milky Way, explaining that it is our home galaxy, filled with countless stars and planets. Each child then received a black craft sheet symbolizing space and a set of crayons. Guided step-by-step by their teachers, the children used white crayons to draw the Milky Way and added imaginative details like shooting stars, swirling galaxy arms, and distant twinkling stars. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills and an early interest in space exploration.
