‘Sports Day – Kreedotsav’ – Std. I & II

If there is a field which teaches the most valuable lessons about perseverance and patience, it is sports.
Hence, on Friday, 01 September, 2023 the Lower primary section of Mitra Academy organized the Nineteenth Annual Sports Meet 2023-24.
The most anticipated event commenced with the arrival of the distinguished chief guest, Mr. Karan Harold Joshua, a talented basketball player. The event had its grand opening with the hoisting of the flag and declaration of the meet open by the Chief Guest. The Principal welcomed the Chief Guest and the dignitaries present. After which the chief guest addressed the gathering. The most entertaining and fascinating part of the event was the field displays based on the theme of the day ‘Khel Khel Mein’. There were vivid field displays followed by energetic track events for the students of the lower primary section and the award ceremony. The meet was declared closed by handing over the school flag to the Principal by the Head of the Sports department. What everyone witnessed was surreal and was a very memorable day for the audience and the students made the day very special.
