Rhyme & Rhythm – Recitation Competition – Std. I & Std. II

A Poetry Recitation Competition was organized for the students of Std I and II to provide them with a platform to showcase their talent and enhance their oratory skills. The competition aimed to instill confidence, improve pronunciation and encourage self-expression among young learners. Students participated with great enthusiasm, reciting poems with clarity, confidence, and expressive gestures. Each participant introduced themselves confidently before presenting their poem. The selection of poems, shared earlier through Google Classroom, supported students in preparing thoroughly. The competition was conducted in the respective classrooms, where students were judged based on voice modulation, pronunciation, confidence, memorization, and overall presentation. The efforts of all participants were highly appreciated, and the best three performers from each section were selected. The event not only strengthened students’ public speaking skills but also nurtured a love for poetry and language.
