Onam Special Assembly – Std. I to Std. V
Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, marks the return of the legendary King Mahabali and is celebrated with grandeur through feasting, boat races, songs and dances. To capture the essence of this festival and promote the values of love, harmony and unity, the students of Class IV F presented a special assembly for the Upper Primary Section on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
The assembly was a visual delight, beginning with a melodious rendition of the traditional Vanchipattu (boat song), followed by a vibrant dance performance that beautifully reflected the festive spirit. The class teacher then delivered a theme talk, narrating the story of Onam while emphasizing the importance of diversity and sharing. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem, leaving the audience inspired and uplifted.
