National Science Day – UP

National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28, each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by the Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman. A special assembly was organised for the students of Std.III to Std.V to mark this occasion on Tuesday, February 28,2023. The assembly commenced with the school prayer, followed by a thought for the day and the Weather Report. It was followed by Science Facts, theme talk on National Science Day. The meaning of the Raman Effect was explained to the children and the students of Std III. They sang a song in Kannada, “Yelu Swaravu Seri” which explains the science concepts in simple language. It was indeed a very knowledgeable day in which the main motive was to spread a message about the importance of Science used in the daily life of the people.
