National Science Day Assembly – Std. III to Std. V
The National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and scientific fervour by the Upper Primary students on Friday, February 27, 2026. The special assembly was thoughtfully organised to highlight the importance of science in everyday life and to nurture curiosity and a scientific temper among students. The programme commenced with the morning prayer, setting a serene tone for the day, followed by an inspiring Thought for the Day. Students then shared fascinating scientific facts, enriching the audience’s understanding of simple yet remarkable phenomena that shape our daily life. A melodious Kannada song dedicated to National Science Day was beautifully presented by the students, conveying the message that science is an integral part of our lives. The highlight of the assembly was an engaging skit titled “Science Is Everywhere.” Through relatable and practical examples, the students effectively demonstrated how science influences even the most ordinary activities, leaving the audience both enlightened and entertained. The celebration also featured a compelling theme talk that encouraged students to aspire to become future scientists and innovators. Overall, the National Science Day assembly was informative and inspiring, successfully fostering a deeper appreciation for science and igniting a sense of wonder and inquiry in young minds.
