National Science Day – Assembly – Explore, Experiment, Evolve – Std. VI & Std. VII

Students of Std VI and VII of Mitra Academy conducted a special assembly on Friday, 27th February 2026 to celebrate National Science Day, commemorating the discovery of Raman Effect by the scientist and Nobel Laureate, Dr C.V.Raman. The programme comprised Thought for the Day, Student’s Talk and a skit with short, scientific experiments stimulating curiosity and innovation. The Student Talk highlighted the importance of Sir C.V.Raman’s discovery and the relevance of science in daily life. There was a Teacher’s Talk emphasising the importance of possessing strong values with the scientific genius. The event was celebrated with great zeal in the school. The students were exposed to the magic of curiosity and were inspired to explore and innovate.
