National Mathematics Day – Std. III to V

National Mathematics Day is observed on December 22 each year to mark the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian Mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan and to honour his contributions in the field of Mathematics. To highlight the significance of this day and foster Mathematical curiosity among the students, a special assembly for the students of the Upper Primary Section was conducted on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. The program commenced with the school prayer, followed by a thought for the day, news and a segment explaining the significance of the day. A melodious song was then presented and students were introduced to various fascinating facts in Mathematics. The primary aim of the celebration was to pay tribute to the life and work of Srinivasa Ramanujan. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
