India celebrates National Doctors’ Day on July 1st to commemorate the life and legacy of the iconic and internationally renowned medical practitioner, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy who served as a physician, a freedom fighter, an educationist and a politician. To recognise the invaluable contributions of doctors to individuals and communities, the students of the Upper Primary section celebrated National Doctors’ Day on Monday, June 30, 2025. The assembly commenced with the school prayer, school hymn, an inspiring thought for the day and the news and weather report. The students of Std. IV D dedicated a heartfelt poem to doctors appreciating their commitment to serving the nation and saving countless lives every day. This was followed by a theme talk that highlighted the significance of National Doctors’ Day. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem. This special assembly helped the students understand the role, importance, and responsibilities of doctors. It served as a meaningful reminder to express our gratitude to the physicians who work tirelessly and selflessly for the well-being of society.
