National Doctors’ Day Assembly – Std. III to Std. V

India celebrates National Doctors’ Day on 1st July to honour the birth and death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, an eminent physician, freedom fighter, educationist and statesman, whose life and service continue to inspire generations.
To honour the invaluable contributions of doctors and acknowledge their dedication to society, the Upper Primary Section conducted a special assembly on Wednesday, July 01, 2026. The assembly commenced with the school prayer, school hymn, thought for the day, followed by the news and weather report. The students of Std. V A presented a thought-provoking skit expressing heartfelt gratitude to doctors for their compassion, commitment and selfless service. This was followed by a theme talk that highlighted the significance of National Doctors’ Day and the indispensable role of medical professionals in promoting the health and well-being of society. The assembly served as a meaningful tribute to the tireless efforts of doctors and reinforced the importance of valuing and respecting those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
