National Doctors’ Day Assembly – Std. I & Std. II

The special assembly on National Doctors’ Day was conducted on Thursday, July 02, 2026 to honour and appreciate the dedication, compassion, and selfless service of doctors in safeguarding the health and well-being of society. The assembly commenced with the School Hymn, followed by the Thought for the Day: “Not all angels have wings; some have stethoscopes.” Students shared interesting facts about doctors, highlighting their indispensable role in society and the noble nature of their medical profession. A meaningful role play presented by the students depicted the empathy, commitment and tireless efforts of doctors in serving humanity. This was followed by a short video that reinforced the importance of the medical profession and the invaluable contribution of healthcare professionals. The teacher’s theme highlighted the significance of observing National Doctors’ Day on July 01, in memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. The students learnt about his remarkable contributions as a physician, educationist, freedom fighter and statesman. The teacher also spoke about the invaluable service rendered by doctors and encouraged everyone to express gratitude and respect for their unwavering commitment to saving lives and promoting good health. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt message of appreciation for doctors and their dedicated service to society, followed by the National Anthem.
