Krishna Janmashtami Special Assembly – Std. III to Std.V

The students of Std. IV H, representing the Upper Primary Section, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami through a special assembly on Monday, August 31, 2026. The assembly highlighted the timeless teachings and values associated with Lord Krishna, including kindness, courage, righteousness, love, and devotion. The programme began with a prayer and the school hymn, followed by the Thought for the Day, news and weather report. Students then shared interesting facts about Lord Krishna and spoke about the significance of Janmashtami. The assembly came alive with a melodious devotional song and an energetic dance performance, followed by a lively skit depicting an episode from Lord Krishna’s childhood. Through the skit, students effectively conveyed the values of love, friendship, courage and righteousness. The assembly was a joyful and enriching experience, with students participating confidently and enthusiastically to make the celebration colourful, meaningful, and memorable.
