Krishna Janmashtami Special Assembly – Std. I & Std. II
Krishna Janmashtami is one of India’s most popular festivals celebrated across the country with great devotion and joy, to mark the birth of Lord Krishna. On Monday August 18, 2025, the Lower Primary Students conducted a special assembly on this auspicious occasion with enthusiasm and reverence. The assembly highlighted the significance of Lord Krishna’s birth and spread the message of love, truth and righteousness. The assembly began with the School Hymn, followed by a brief introduction about the festival presented by the students. Children from different grades presented a devotional song, followed by a graceful dance performance that beautifully captured the joy and spirit of Janmashtami. Adding to the celebrations, a Flute-Making Activity was also organized, where students joyfully created colourful and decorative flutes, symbolizing Lord Krishna’s love for the instrument. The celebration not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talents but also deepened their understanding of the cultural and spiritual significance of Janmashtami. It was truly a joyful and memorable occasion for all.
