Kite Crafting: Sankranti Celebration – KG

The Kite Crafting Activity was held as part of the Sankranti celebration, helping children understand the festival and the joy of kite flying. Parents dressed their children in traditional attire, while teachers added colour in ethnic wear. The Kindergarten block was adorned with vibrant kite décor and a festive thematic corner showcasing Sankranti elements. A cultural assembly featuring dances and a brief talk on the festival set the tone for the day. Guided by teachers, children assembled and decorated their own kites using pre-cut shapes and colourful designs. The handmade kites were taken home as keepsakes, making the celebration joyful, meaningful and memorable.
