Kisan Diwas – Std. VI to X

The students of Std VIB of Mitra Academy conducted a special assembly on Kisaan Diwas to honour the birth anniversary of Choudhary Charan Singh, the 5th Prime Minister of India who is remembered for his exemplary contribution in demanding, campaigning and acquiring farmers’ rights.
The assembly comprised news and a talk on the significance of Kisan Diwas along with a thought-provoking skit. The students presented a song on farmers and Ms. Akshatha, the teacher presented a poem. It was an informative session with an enriching learning experience for the students.
