Kannada Rajyotsava & Kanakadasa Jayanti – Special Assembly – Std. I & Std. II

The Lower Primary Section conducted a special assembly on Tuesday, November 04, 2025, to celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava and Kanakadasa Jayanti with great enthusiasm and pride. The programme aimed to instill love and respect for the Kannada language and culture among the students while remembering the contributions of the great saint-poet Sri Kanakadasa. The assembly began with the School Hymn, followed by the Thought for the day and facts on Kanakadasa Jayanti, sharing insights into his life, devotion, and literary works that spread the message of equality and humanity.The students showcased their talents through a patriotic group song in Kannada and a vibrant dance performance that reflected the rich culture and tradition of Karnataka. The colourful costumes and graceful movements added charm to the celebration.The assembly concluded with the State Anthem, filling everyone’s hearts with pride for the state and its glorious heritage.
