‘Junior Tech Competition’ – LP

In order to give the students an opportunity to exhibit their talent, develop creativity and presentation skills with confidence, the Junior Tech Competition was conducted for the Lower Primary students on Monday, February 12, 2024 to enhance their creativity and computer skills.
The final competition for the selected students was in the Junior Computer lab. Students were assigned systems to draw and colour a scenery using Paint tools.
To achieve the objective of the Junior Tech Competition, the students of Std.I and Std.II were given a chance to think and draw beautiful scenery using Tux Paint and MS Paint respectively. TuxPaint software is a free drawing program designed for young children to enhance their talent using technology. Students were judged based on the following criteria- Presentation (Visual Appeal), Application, Logical thinking, Selection of tools, and Creativity. The students showed great creativity and came up with excellent ideas. Not only did they incorporate many facets of the topic, but also used different features of TuxPaint and MS Paint to make their presentations commendable.
