Junior Investiture Ceremony

‘Children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.’
Potential leaders of tomorrow are groomed, developed, and raised in the miniature world of an educational institution to inspire their fellow mates. With this objective, a formal investiture ceremony was organized to entrust the duties and responsibilities to the newly elected student council members. The Junior Investiture Ceremony was held on Friday, July 5, 2024, on the theme ‘Dayitva…Shouldering Responsibilities’.
The event commenced with the prestigious Guard of Honour, followed by an invocation song that invoked the blessings of God Almighty. The School Hymn was sung, and a mesmerizing inaugural dance added beauty to the ceremony. The Principal, Ms. Vani Trilok, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest of the day, Trustee, Founder, and CFO of Mitra Academy, Ms. Latha Raghukumar.
The newly elected council members took a solemn oath to create a sense of responsibility among the students. The House Advisors handed over the flags to the captains of the respective houses. The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by the honorable Chief Guest and other dignitaries. It was indeed a proud moment for the parents of the Council Members.
The Junior Head Boy, Achyuth Raghavendra and Junior Head Girl, Nidhi Navin, delivered the acceptance speech, promising to abide by the qualities of true leaders and keeping the mantle of Mitra Academy flying high. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
