‘International Mother Language Day’ – LP

International Mother Language Day is observed globally every year on February 21st, to promote linguistic, cultural diversity and multilingualism. The students of the Lower Primary section had a special assembly on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 on International Mother Language Day and showcased their talent. As language helps us express our feelings and thoughts, helps preserve cultures, and it also allows us to learn about others and spread ideas quickly. The assembly started with the school prayer followed by a thought for the day, facts and theme talk. The highlight of the assembly was the ramp walk done by the tiny tots of Std. I C representing every state of India. The enthusiasm of the students was overwhelming and enjoyable as each one spoke a few lines in his/her mother language. Thus, the idea of accepting and respecting all languages was also highlighted.
