International Mother Language Day – LP

International Mother Language Day is celebrated every year on 21st February, to celebrate and respect all the languages of the world. Language, and particularly our mother tongue, is an important part of our culture. The main purpose of celebrating this day is to promote the awareness of language and cultural diversity all across the world. Students of Lower Primary were more than prepared to put up an amazing assembly for their fellow friends. It started with the ‘Thought for the day’, facts and ended with a dance, where all the students were well dressed in the costumes of different states. The children performed on an audio to display the concept of respect and oneness among the diversity. Indeed the closure carried a beautiful message that with all the diversities, we are still just one troupe that is being Indian.
