Inter House Competition Football & Kho-Kho – Std. V

Football and Kho-Kho help improve strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness. With this in mind, an Inter-House Football Competition for boys and an Inter-House Kho-Kho Competition for girls were held for the students of Std. V on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the DHI Ground to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and flexibility. All four houses participated, showcasing the sporting talents and skills of our students. The competition was met with great enthusiasm from both the players and the student audience. After a competitive series, two deserving teams advanced to the finals. In the boys’ category, Topaz House and Ruby House competed in the final match, with Topaz House emerging victorious with a score of 2-1. In the girls’ category, Emerald House and Ruby House faced off in the final, with Emerald House winning 7-3. The students cheered for their houses with joy and enthusiasm which enhanced their social bonding and competitive confidence. The finalists exhibited strategic thinking and built a camaraderie regardless of the outcome. Each one of them were appreciated for their effort.
