Independence Day & Bhasha Sangam Exhibition 2026

Mitra Academy celebrated the 80th Independence Day on August 15, 2026, with patriotic fervour and the theme “Bhasha Sangam – Many Languages, One Nation.” The Chief Guest, Ms. Shruthi K M, renowned dancer, graced the occasion. The celebrations included flag hoisting, the National Anthem, pledge, March Past, patriotic songs, and the formal inauguration of the exhibition.
The Bhasha Sangam Exhibition showcased India’s rich linguistic and cultural diversity through creative displays, interactive activities, languages, scripts, literature, stories, and freedom narratives presented by students from Classes I to X. The Mock Parliament – “The Three-Language Formula: Unity, Choice or Challenge?” and an engaging Street Play added meaningful contemporary perspectives to the theme.
The cultural programme featured patriotic songs, Fancy Dress, a Bhasha Sangam skit, role play, and patriotic dance. The celebration beautifully combined patriotism, creativity, learning, and cultural awareness, reinforcing the message of “Many Languages, One Nation – One Spirit, One India.”
