‘Hindi Diwas Special Assembly’ – Std. I & II

The students of Std.I and Std.II celebrated Hindi Diwas on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages of India. ‘Hindi Diwas’ was celebrated with great splendour. The assembly began with a Prayer to seek God’s blessings; this was followed by a brief introduction on Hindi Diwas, “Thought for the Day” and a few facts about Hindi Diwas was read out by a student. A song depicting Hindi as a language was sung which reminded us of the uniqueness of this beautiful language. Teachers explained the significance of this day. All this was an effort to make the students understand that language and culture of any country plays an important role in making people connect with each other and in making a strong nation. The celebration concluded with a dance which clearly depicted that Hindi is the simplest source of expression of our nation and it is the soul of Indian culture.
