Gandhi Jayanti Special Assembly – Std. I & II

Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led India to its glorious freedom. To revere this day, the Students of Std.I & II held a Special Assembly on Saturday, September 30, 2023, to commemorate the Mahatma’s life and teachings Also with the view of inculcating the values in which Gandhiji believed and to know the significance of celebrating Gandhi Jayanti. The students came up with a ‘Thought for the day’ and narrated a few facts about Gandhiji. The students paid their homage to Bapu through a dance performance depicting his simple life filled with integrity. and a song performance. This was a great way to pay respect to one of the greatest leaders of all times.
