Gandhi Jayanthi Special Assembly – Std. VI to X

Students of Mitra Academy celebrated Gandhi Jayanti Special Assembly in the ARA Memorial Hall. The event started with a thought for the day (Gandhian), followed by facts about the life of Gandhiji.
This was followed by a poem, which emphasised the significance of the Gandhian Movement.
A medley of songs was melodiously sung by the students of VII, VIII and IX. A dance depicting the significance of various movements launched by Gandhi and the speech on ‘Do or Die’ were the highlight of the program. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
