Floral Bag Making Activity – Std. I & Std. II (New Admission)
The newly admitted students of Std. I and II for the academic year 2026–27 were warmly welcomed on Monday, June 1, 2026. The school campus, corridors and classrooms were beautifully decorated with colourful balloons to create a cheerful atmosphere.. High school students dressed as popular cartoon characters such as Doraemon and Donald Duck greeted the children at the entrance, making them feel special and excited. Teachers escorted the students to their respective classrooms and helped them settle in comfortably. The day commenced with the School Prayer, followed by the School Hymn. The teacher shared the Thought for the Day and explained its significance to the students. An energetic action song, “Animal Dance – Cocomelon,” was played on the TV and the children enthusiastically participated by following the actions. Attendance was taken simultaneously by the buddy teacher. Students then enjoyed a Floral Basket Making art and craft activity, displaying creativity and enthusiasm. After the break, they watched a video on Classroom Rules, which introduced them to expected behaviour, school routines, and discipline. The session helped students understand the importance of listening, following instructions and maintaining good conduct within the school premises. Overall, the Opening Day was filled with excitement, learning, creativity, and joyful experiences, providing the children with a positive and memorable start to their school journey.
