Field Trip to Dairy Day Ice Cream Factory – Std. IV

The students of Std. IV visited the Dairy Day Ice Cream Factory on Thursday, August 08, 2024 and on Friday, August 09, 2024 to learn about the process of making ice cream and to understand the operations of its production facilities. This field trip provided the students with an opportunity to observe the step-by-step process of ice cream manufacturing and from raw ingredients to packaging. The students visited the various sections of the factory which included the nuts segregation, ingredient section, mixing section, packaging section, quality testing and the cold storage area. The field trip to the Dairy Day Ice Cream Factory was an enriching experience. It provided the students with a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in ice cream production and the importance of food safety standards. The opportunity to see the production process up close made the trip both educational and enjoyable. The students left the factory with a greater appreciation for the science and effort behind one of their favourite treats.
