Field Trip to the Namma Bengaluru Aquarium – Std. I

An exciting and educational field trip for the students of Std I was organised on June 23, 2025 and June 24, 2025 to the Namma Bengaluru Aquarium, located on Kasturba Road, Bengaluru, within the scenic premises of Cubbon Park. Widely known as Bangalore Aquarium, it is the second-largest aquarium in India, renowned for its captivating display of cultivable and ornamental fish. Surrounded by prominent historical landmarks in the heart of the city, the aquarium provided a perfect backdrop for the students to explore and learn. The young learners were enthralled by the diverse species of freshwater and tropical fish in all shapes, sizes, and colours. The vibrant marine life, displayed in both small and large glass tanks, offered the students a mesmerizing glimpse into the underwater world. A particularly thrilling moment for the children was the opportunity to touch and observe starfish up close, allowing them to explore the unique traits and behaviours of different aquatic creatures. More than just an enjoyable outing, the field trip significantly contributed to the students’ holistic development. It encouraged essential life skills such as resilience, adaptability, curiosity, and interpersonal communication in real-world settings. Moreover, the experience helped instil a deeper sense of appreciation for nature, living beings and their delicate habitats, nurturing a growing sense of environmental responsibility. The day was filled with awe, learning, and lasting memories, making it a truly enriching experiential learning opportunity for all the students.
