Field Trip to Lalbagh – Std. II (Batch 2)

Mitra Academy School, Arekere organized a field trip for the students of Std II students on Thursday June 26, 2025 to The Lalbagh Botanical Gardens. The students were accompanied by their respective class teachers and support staff. Known for its rich diversity of flora, lush greenery, serene lake and picturesque walking paths, Lalbagh offers a perfect blend of nature, history and relaxation in the heart of the bustling city. To a child, Lalbagh Gardens in Bengaluru feels like a magical wonderland. With tall, shady trees, bright flowers and butterflies fluttering all around, it becomes a place of joy and endless discovery. The highlight of the trip was the iconic Glass House, which resembled a grand glass palace and left the children in awe. For them, Lalbagh was not just a garden, but a place to play, imagine and explore the wonders of nature. The educational tour focused on the holistic development of students. It offered opportunities to build resilience, adaptability and interpersonal skills through real world experiences. Students developed a deeper appreciation for nature and living beings and helped instill a sense of responsibility towards protecting the environment. Overall it was a fun-filled day packed with excitement, exploration and experiential learning.
