Environment Day Special Assembly – LP

The Lower Primary students of Mitra Academy organised a special assembly on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in honour of ‘World Environment Day’. The assembly began with the school prayer and hymn, followed by the ‘thought for the day’ and a few facts. An awareness program was conducted to mark the occasion, with all the students of Std. I and II participating energetically. The lively start to the day reinvigorated both students and teachers. The objective of the program was to spread awareness among students about saving our environment from various types of pollution and maintaining a clean and safe environment. In the classroom, a video was shown to emphasise the importance of water conservation.
