Eco Friendly Diwali Celebration Activity – LP

“Shine like sparkles glow like candles and burn all the negativity like crackers”
The students of the Lower Primary section celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm. The young students proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries.To familiarize children with the importance of celebrating Diwali and to make them understand the celebration of an Eco friendly Diwali, an activity was conducted on Monday, November 06, 2023. The activity permeated the school premises with an atmosphere of togetherness and hope. Students were briefed on the ill-effects of burning crackers and were urged to celebrate the festival with candles, sweets and non-polluting green crackers. Later students were engaged in the making of lanterns using colourful A4 sheets and decorated it with glitter paper and colourful stickers. Students’ gross motor skill and creativity was enhanced. The entire presentation filled the hearts of all the students with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.
