Doctor’s Day – Std. I & II

National Doctors’ Day in India is celebrated to honour the legendary doctor, the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, and Bharat Ratna Awardee, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. In celebration of National Doctors’ Day, the students of the Lower Primary section held a special assembly on Monday, July 1, 2024, to honour and appreciate the invaluable contributions of doctors to society. The event conveyed the significance of Doctors’ Day—a day dedicated to recognising and appreciating the invaluable contributions of doctors to society. The assembly began with the school hymn, followed by the ‘thought for the day’, a few facts, and a theme talk on the reason behind celebrating Doctors’ Day and the 24/7 selfless service and dedication of medical professionals who work tirelessly to ensure the health and well-being of the nation. The assembly concluded with students saluting the frontline warriors and singing the National Anthem.
