Doctor’s Day Assembly – Std. I & II
National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on 01 July every year in INDIA for the past 32 years (since 1991), honouring the legendary and renowned doctor Bidhan Chandra Roy, a politician, a freedom fighter, and an advocate for education. In a special assembly conducted on Monday, July 03,2023, the students conveyed the significance of Doctor’s Day to all present in a simple, yet an explicit way. It was necessary to raise awareness about the roles, importance and responsibilities of doctors. A ‘Doctor’s coat making activity was organized for the students of Std I and Std II. The assembly concluded with students saluting the frontline warriors and this was followed by the National Anthem. It was indeed a new learning experience for our little ones.
