Children’s Day Special Assembly – Std. I & II

Children are an integral part of our society and represent the bright future of our country. With innocence in their hearts spread happiness and joy all around. A special day is dedicated to celebrate childhood and is celebrated as Children’s Day in India, every year on November 14. The day also marks the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In order to raise awareness about the importance of children’s welfare and the joy of celebrating childhood, the Children’s Day Special Assembly was conducted on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Students expressed great enthusiasm in witnessing the show organized by teachers. The assembly started with the ‘School Prayer’, followed by ‘Thought for the day’. A few ‘Amazing Facts’ were shared by the teachers to enlighten the young minds, followed by a puppet show and a melodious song. Furthermore, the students were thrilled to watch the dance performance by the teachers. After the assembly, students enthusiastically participated in the Bambino’s Imagination Competition and the Hand Butterfly Making Activity. The celebrations culminated with the sweet treat of ‘chikkis’ in school.
