Children’s Day Celebration – Special Assembly – KG

To commemorate the birth anniversary of our national leader, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Reflecting Nehru’s love for children, the young ones were dressed in blue jeans and white shirt adorned with a rose and a Nehru cap, embodying the iconic style of ‘Chacha Nehru.’ The day began with children being warmly welcomed into their classrooms with a flower pencil bouquet. They then shared their dreams and aspirations by writing on a beautifully crafted wishing tree displayed on their classroom walls. A special programme organised by the teachers added charm to the event. Programme included a Prayer Song, Significance of the Day, Skit, Dance Mashup, Role Play and Charlie Chaplin Meme. The programme concluded with an action dance by the teachers, leaving the little ones in high spirits. Adding a touch of festivity, a photo booth at the entrance allowed children and teachers to capture precious moments. The day left behind a trail of smiles, laughter and cherished memories, a fitting tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s vision of a bright and promising future.
