“Bridging Generations” – Poem Writing Competition – Std. III to Std. V

To mark the occasion of World Senior Citizen Day, our school organized a Poem Writing Competition on the theme “Bridging Generations” on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The competition aimed to celebrate the day by encouraging students to reflect on the importance of nurturing bonds between the young and the elderly. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of the Upper Primary section. Each poem beautifully captured the spirit of love, respect, and care for senior citizens, while highlighting the value of intergenerational connections. The entries were evaluated on Presentation, Imagination, Content, Language and Creativity and winners were chosen from each section. The event was a resounding success, offering students a platform to showcase their creativity while instilling in them a sense of responsibility, empathy, and respect for elders. It was indeed a meaningful and heartwarming way to celebrate World Senior Citizen Day.
