Teachers’ Day Assembly – Std. III to V

Teachers’ Day is celebrated in honour of the enduring legacy of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a distinguished educator and philosopher who regarded teaching as one of the noblest professions. Embracing this spirit of gratitude and appreciation, the Upper Primary Section celebrated Teachers’ Day on Wednesday, September 02, 2026, with a special assembly held in the ARA Hall. The programme commenced with the School Prayer and Hymn, followed by the Thought for the Day, Facts, News and Theme Talk, setting a thoughtful and reflective tone for the celebration. The students then presented a heartfelt poem expressing their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers, followed by a vibrant dance performance that added colour and joy to the occasion. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving the audience with a sense of pride and inspiration. The celebration beautifully underscored the significance of Teachers’ Day and reminded students of the profound role teachers play in their lives—not merely as impartors of knowledge, but as mentors, role models and guiding lights who inspire, nurture and shape the future of every child.
