Field Trip to Swachagraha Kalika Kendra – Std. VI

Mitra Academy organised an educational trip to Swachagraha Kalika Kendra, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, on 3rd and 4th August 2026 for the students of Class VI. The visit aimed at providing real-world learning experiences and creating awareness about waste management and environmental sustainability. The students learned about dry, wet and sanitary waste segregation, visited the dump yard and understood the importance of practising the three-way segregation at home. They were also introduced to composting machines, recycled-material exhibits, and eco-friendly composting techniques through a live demonstration. The visit concluded with the students taking an oath for sustainability, pledging to adopt responsible waste-management practices and contribute towards environmental conservation.
