Environment Day Special Assembly – Std. I & II

World Environment Day was celebrated by the students of the Lower Primary Section on Friday, June 05, 2026 with enthusiasm and awareness among the students. The special assembly began with the School Prayer and School Hymn, followed by the Thought for the Day: “Small hands can make a big difference by keeping our Earth clean and green.” Students spoke about the significance of World Environment Day and shared interesting facts about the environment. An environmental awareness video was screened, highlighting the importance of protecting and preserving our planet. The teachers addressed the students on the importance of celebrating World Environment Day and encouraging them to adopt simple practices such as conserving natural resources, reducing pollution and maintaining clean surroundings. The assembly concluded with birthday wishes and the National Anthem. As part of the classroom activity, students enthusiastically participated in a Save Earth Crown-Making Activity, creatively expressing their commitment to keep the Earth green, healthy and beautiful. The celebration helped foster environmental awareness among the students and encouraged them to become responsible citizens who care for and protect the environment.
